No division 1 program has been on recruiting tear in the last week as much as Temple.
The North Philly school received commitments last week from forwards De’Vondre Perry (Poly, MD) and J.P. Moorman (Greensboro Day, NC) while picking up a commitment today from 6’10 forward/center Justyn Hamilton out of Independence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The three-star forward chose the Owls over Depaul after having official visits at both schools last month. But it was rumored that Hamilton favored Fran Dunphy’s Temple program after last weeks visit.
Hamilton is Temple’s fourth recruit in the Class of 2017 with both Perry and Moorman along with Roselle Catholic’s (NJ) Nate Pierre-Louis, who committed to the program early last month as well. With seniors Josh Brown, Mark Williams and Daniel Dingle all set to graduate in the spring, this class could be potential early contributors for the Owls.
