Diallo Commits to Kentucky


Class of 2017 top shooting guard, Hamidou Diallo, has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats.

The 6’6 ultra-athletic Diallo chose Kentucky over Arizona, Indiana, Syracuse, UConn and Kansas and will join the Wildcats at the start of the semester. Diallo, a fifth-year senior at Putnam Science (CT), decided last week that he would forgo the rest of his post-grad season to enroll at a school.

Diallo is the Wildcats fifth commit joining five-star prospects, Quade Green, Shai AlexanderJarred Vanderbilt, Nick Richards and PJ Washington.

Per a few sources, Diallo does not plan on playing this semester but will workout with the team to prepare for the 2017-2018 season.

The five-star guard has also been linked to possibly entering the 2017 NBA Draft after over 30 NBA scout were in attendance to watch Diallo play in the National Prep Showcase in Connecticut.
