Bishop Miege (KS) Bol Bol — one of the nation’s top juniors — is leaving Kansas to finish his prep career in California.
The 6’10 thin center — who is the son of NBA legend Manute Bol — has decided to transfer to California powerhouse, Mater Dei High School. Bol will team up with 6’10 LaSalle commit, Michael Brookins, to help the Monarchs get back to the State Championship, a goal they have not completed since 2014.
According to Scout.com, Bol is the No. 1 center in the class of 2018 due to his huge upside and long wingspan. Bol’s biggest knock has been his size for the position, although he makes it up with his versatility on the floor.
Over the summer while playing with the KC Run GMC in the Under Armour Association, Bol averaged 6.6ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.6bpg for his team that went 9-3 in league play.
