Leondre Washington is headed back to Teaneck High School (NJ).
The 5’11 point guard is transferring back to his former school after playing last season at Roselle Catholic where he averaged 8.1ppg and 1.3rpg on a loaded team that featured several Division 1 prospects.
Washington will rejoin former backcourt mate Ja’Quaye James where they will defend their Group 3 championship and hope to land back in the Tournament of Champions. Before Washington left for Roselle Catholic, the slick playmaking guard averaged 22.1ppg per game as a sophomore.
Over the summer, Washington was a key member of the NJ Playaz where he averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assist in the Nike EYBL circuit.
